THE ROLE:

 

In this role, you will leverage data-driven insights, executive stakeholder management, and design thinking principles to identify and implement strategic initiatives that drive organic business growth and enhance person-centered service access. Collaborating across functions, you'll translate enterprise strategies into actionable objectives, lead the development of short and long-term goals, and identify grant opportunities to support our strategic vision at TPC-West. Your expertise will be crucial in monitoring marketplace conditions and providing insightful reports to leadership. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Assess sustainability, social impact, and profitable growth potential for new programs and enhancements
  • Design and implement end-to-end workflows, processes, policies, and procedures for newly developed programs
  • Drive design thinking and human-centered innovation for the research and development of new programs or key improvements
  • Evaluate organizational core competencies and identify new development needs to achieve program and organizational goals
  • Identify and analyze new business development opportunities aligned with portfolio strategy
  • Interpret market policies and regulations, ensuring compliant program designs and care models
  • Represent the organization in key industry stakeholder meetings, build partnerships, and negotiate contracts in line with organizational strategy and compliance.
  • Utilize market, external, and industry insights to make strategic recommendations for program enhancements.

 This is a fully remote position and minimal travel may be required.  

 

The expected California Pay Range for this position is $138,000 to $181,000. You will also be eligible for a potential annual bonus of 15-20%.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, new partnerships, and workflow design, with a focus on leadership in health plans, community-based organizations, or government agencies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to comprehend and interpret new policies and regulations, coupled with in-depth understanding of general Medicaid policies. 
  • Proven P&L management or Project Management experience with annual revenue exceeding $10 million, including experience with projections and budgeting.
  • Excellent knowledge of Social Determinants of Health and a keen understanding of healthcare industry trends. Experience in driving innovative solutions through design thinking.
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating contract terms to secure successful partnerships and program implementation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Certification or experience in design thinking methodologies is preferred
  • Background in Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) programs or experience serving people with disabilities, underserved populations, or medically fragile populations is preferred.
